Join the outer and center panel together. Cut the covering
down the center of the retract leg slot on the outer and center
wing panels. Use a covering iron to warm the covering and
pull it back so the balsa can be removed. Keep the covering
attached to the wing. Use low-tack tape to hold the covering
back from the exposed wood.

da rivestimento scaldare il rivestimento per tirarlo indietro
e poter rimuovere il balsa. Tenere il rivestimento attaccato
all'ala. Usare del nastro a bassa adesività per tenere indietro
il rivestimento dal legno a vista.

Place the landing gear door in position. Use a pencil to draw
the outline of the door onto the covering. We used a piece of
low-tack tape to support the door over the open wheel well.

Use a hobby knife and #11 blade to trim the balsa to fi t the gear door. Use the lines as guides for removing the balsa. Begin
by cutting the slot more narrow than needed. Slowly increase the width of the door slot to 1
gear door fi ts in the center of the slot with equal spacing each side. Separate the wing panel from the center section and use a
covering iron to seal the covering to the wing and into the slot for the retract leg.
Passen Sie mit einem Hobbymesser den Balsaausschnitt für die Tür an. Beginnen Sie etwas schmaler als notwendig und
erweitern dann vorsichtig auf eine Breite von 28mm. Dabei sollte die Tür zu beiden Seiten gleich viel Platz haben. Nehmen Sie die
Tragfl äche von dem Mittelteil ab und bügeln die Bespannung an der Fläche und Fahrwerksschacht fest.
Utilisez un couteau muni d'une lame 11 pour découper le balsa au niveau du passage de la trappe. Utilisez en référence les
lignes précédemment tracées. Commencez par découper une rainure plus étroite et élargissez-la progressivement à une largeur
de 28mm, contrôlez que la trappe se loge correctement dans la rainure. Séparez les panneaux extérieurs de la partie centrale de
l'aile et utilisez un fer à entoiler pour refi xer l'entoilage au niveau des découpes.
Con una lametta ritagliare il balsa per adattarlo al portello. Usare le righe come guide per togliere il balsa. Iniziare col fare la
fessura più stretta di quello che serve e poi aumentarla lentamente fi no a portarla ad una larghezza di 28mm, accertandosi che
il portello stia al centro con uno spazio uguale da ogni lato. Staccare le semiali esterne dal pianetto centrale e poi con un ferro
per rivestimenti sigillare il rivestimento nell'ala e nella sede per le gambe retrattili.
