STORING FOOD

•
Food shall be
stored in
adequate
packages like
plastic bags or
containers with
hermetic lids.
This procedure avoids the removal
of natural humidity from the food,
preserving quality.
•
Do not place hot foods inside the
Refrigerator. Allow them to cool
down to room temperature.
That helps saving
power consumption,
and assures the
good operation of
the product.
•
Try to leave the doors open only as
long as it takes to place and
remove food and beverages.
You will, thus, reduce power
consumption and improve the
performance of your Refrigerator.
•
In case doors remain open for
approximately 1 minute, an alarm
will sound to indicate that they
shall be closed (Models 380 and
440).
NO FROST AND
WIND-FLOW SYSTEMS
Your Refrigerator uses the no Frost
system. Defrosting is automatic and
you do not need to defrost the
product.
The Wind-flow
system ensures
homogeneous
circulation of cold
air which is
distributed to the
whole Refrigerator.
•
It is important that air circulation
openings are always free.
•
When opening the door,
Refrigerator shelves may fog up.
This is normal.
•
To assure better efficiency of your
Refrigerator when opening the
door, the fan stops working as
long as the door is open. That
decreases the entry of hot air
caused by the opening of the
door and reduces power
consumption.
(Models 380/440 and 340 only in
the Refrigerator compartment).
DEODORIZER
Certain foods have a characteristic
odor. Your Refrigerator is provided
with a Deodorizer that acts as a
filter, absorbing unpleasant odors
that circulate inside the Refrigerator.
That avoids food to lose its natural
flavor and odor characteristics. The
deodorizer is built in the cold air
circulation duct.

EXTRA-COLD COMPARTMENT

This compartment operates at a
colder, more stable temperature,
inside the Refrigerator. It, therefore,
keeps daily food longer and faster
cools beverages. It is indicated to
store dairy products, ham, sausages
and meat.
•
If necessary to remove it, first take
out all food. Then completely
open the drawer, pulling it
frontward, until it touches the
stop.
