6. Select the "compression mode" by moving the button into position
position.
7. Slide the compression sleeve up to the fitting by repeatedly
operating the
ratchet mechanism.
Caution:
Stop the ratchet action as soon as the compression sleeve is in
contact with the fitting! "Over-pressing" of the fitting components
must be avoided! (May result in fitting damage or jamming of the tool)
8. Select the "release mode" by moving the button into its lower posi-
tion (down and to the side).
9. Close the handles again until the locking pawl is released. Then
open the handles fully to their 90° position in order to move the tool
into the initial position.
10. Completed compression sleeve joint.
Processing at temperatures under -10°C and over
+45°C may result in damage to jointing components, to
the tool and/or in personal injury.

Do not use the tool at temperatures below -10 °C

At lower temperatures (below 0°C) it is recommended that the
jointing components be stored in a warm environment before
being processed.
