7.2 Temperature Sensor
1.
Remove the temperature-sensor seal (13) from
the sensor-socket on the flow side of the solar
panel and slide over the sensor.
2.
Then insert the temperature sensor into the
sensor socket on the solar panel.
3.
Reseal with the temperature-sensor seal.
Caution:
The solar-panel temperature sensor (19) must be
fitted on the flow side on the external-connection
side of the solar panel. For fitting location refer to
chapter 7. Connection of Solar Panels page 37.
Make sure the temperature sensor is pushed all
the way into the sensor socket.
Note:
The transfer of heat between the sensor socket
and the temperature sensor can be improved by
the use of heat-conducting paste.
7.3 Cable Routing
Fit the cable-tie clips into the multifunction slot in
the solar-panel frame and rotate through 90˚.
Then feed a cable tie (short) through the cable-tie
clip, loop it around the temperature sensor cable
and tighten. Cut off excess length of cable ties.
Feed the temperature-sensor cable through the
vented roof tile together with the solar-panel
connecting hoses.
