7. CONNECTION OF SOLAR PANELS
The illustration shows how the solar panels in a 3
vertical panels set are connected. Other solar-
panel groups are connected in the same way.
06 = Solar-panel connection set
A = Flow connection
B = return connection
07 = Solar-panel connector
50 = Return pipe link
19 = Temperature sensor
Caution:
Fit the temperature sensor (19) on the upper
side on the external-connection side of the solar-
panel group
Note:
The piping can be connected to either end of the
solar-panel group.
7.1 Solar-Panel Connection Set
1.
Slide back the heat insulation on the solar-panel
connection pipes, fit clamping ring fittings to the
solar-panel pipe connections and tighten.
Caution:
When tightening the clamping ring fittings, use a
second spanner to prevent the centre part of the
fitting from turning, as otherwise the solar-panel
pipes may be damaged.
2.
On the last panel of a panel group, the integrated
return pipe is connected to the panel's serpentine
piping. The return pipe link (50) is connected
across the pipe connections of the solar panel.
Remove the plastic dust caps from the pipe
connections and fit the clamping ring fittings (11)
onto the panel's pipe connections.

Tighten the nuts on the clamping ring fittings
(11).
Caution:
When tightening the clamping ring fittings, use a
second spanner to prevent the centre part of the
joint from turning, as otherwise the solar-panel
pipes may be damaged.
