Warning
S Ensure that, in the movement range of
the DMSP−... / MAS−...:
no−one stands under the moving mass
(e.g. by using protective guards)
there are no foreign objects present.
The DMSP−... / MAS−... should only be
touched once the mass is in a stable
position.
With MAS−...−K with force locking:
Please note
Forces that are too high will trigger the MAS−...−K safety functions.
S Ensure that the forces produced are within the permitted range (see the
Technical Data). If the maximum permitted force is exceeded, the com
pressed air will leak from the MAS−...−K connection flange.
If the maximum permitted forces are complied with, then the MAS−...−K is ready
for use.
With all DMSP−... / MAS−...:
Start a test run at a low working frequency as follows:
S
1. Slowly pressurize the Fluidic Muscle (e.g. with a pressure build−up valve).
2. Make sure on the DMSP−... / MAS−... that:
the required motion sequence is observed.
the contraction is within the permitted tolerance
(max. 25 % of rated length).
the required force is reached / the load is lifted.
there is no leakage.
Conclude the test run.
S
Exhaust the DMSP−... / MAS−... .
