CAUTION:

Starting-Up the Appliance

Instructions for Use
Before you prepare the first dog biscuits for consumption ...
• Remove any packaging that is still present. Unwind the
mains lead completely.
• Clean the housing and the baking surfaces with a damp
cloth.
Electrical Connection
1. Check whether the mains voltage that you want to use
matches the one of the appliance. You will find the infor-
mation about this on the type plate.
2. Insert the plug in a duly installed protective contact
socket. The red indicator light indicates the operating
condition. The green indicator light indicates that the
appliance immediately heats up.
Non-Stick Coating
1. Lightly grease the baking surfaces before the appliance is
used for the first time.
2. Use the appliance for about 10 minutes with the toasting
surfaces closed (see "Using the appliance").
3. Remove the mains plug from the socket and allow the
appliance to cool down.
4. Bake all 10 dog biscuits as a trial.
NOTE:
• Any smoke or smells produced during this proce-
dure are normal. Please ensure sufficient ventilation.
• Do not consume those first dog cakes.
5. After the appliance has cooled down, wipe the baking
surfaces with a paper towel.

Using the Appliance

NOTE:
• Keep the baking surfaces closed while heating.
• When the heating-up phase has finished, the green
control lamp goes off.
• The red control lamp remains on to show that the appli-
ance is working.
1. Release the lid catch and fold the lid up until it remains
open.

2. Fill the molds with the dough.
NOTE:
Do not fill in too much dough so the dough does not
overflow.
3. Gently close the lid. Close the lid catch.
NOTE:
• The green control lamp switches on and off during bak-
ing in order to maintain the baking temperature.
• The baking time depends on your individual taste. The
longer the dog biscuits remain in the appliance, the
more intense the browning.
• The baking section should always be closed in the inter-
vals between baking.
WARNING:
Pay attention to escaping steam. Risk of burning.
4. Open the lid catch carefully and then fold up the lid.
5. Remove the dog biscuits with a wooden fork or similar.
CAUTION:
Do not use pointed or sharp objects to avoid damaging the
coating of the baking surfaces.
Switching Off
If you would like to interrupt operation or switch the appliance
off, remove the plug from the socket. The red control lamp
goes off.

Recipe Suggestions

Basic Recipe
500 g flour
325 ml of milk
1 tbsp of baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 egg
With Oatmeal
250 g flour
100 g oatmeal
30 ml of vegetable oil
100 - 200 ml vegetable broth
1 egg
½ tsp dry yeast
Optionally, you can add 1 carrot finely grated or 3 - 4 tsps liver
sausage.
