General Safety Instructions

Read the operating instructions very carefully before putting
the appliance into operation and keep the instructions includ-
ing the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the
internal packing. If you give this appliance to other people,
please also pass on the operating instructions.
• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and
for the intended purpose. This appliance is not fit for com-
mercial use.
Do not use the appliance outdoors. Protect the appliance
from heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never submerge in
liquids) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with
wet hands. Immediately disconnect from mains power
supply if the appliance got wet.
• When cleaning or in case of malfunction, switch off the
appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull
on the plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not being
used and remove the attached accessories.
• Do not operate the machine without supervision. Always
turn the appliance off, when you leave the room. Pull the
plug out of the socket.
• Check the appliance regularly for damages. Do not use
the appliance in case of damages.
• Do not repair the appliance yourself, contact an author-
ized service center instead. The manufacturer, the author-
ized service center or a similar qualified specialist, must
exchange a defective mains cord.
• Only use original accessories.
• Observe the following "Special Safety Precautions".
Children and the infirm
• Keep packaging out of the reach of children (plastic bag,
cardboard box, polystyrene, etc.) for safety reasons.
Warning!
Do not allow small children to play with the foil. Danger of
suffocation!
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.

Intended use

This appliance serves for heating and foaming milk.
It is exclusively intended for this purpose and may be only
used appropriately.
It must only be used in the manner described in these operat-
ing instructions.
You may not use the appliance for commercial purposes. Use
for any other purpose is considered improper and not for the
intended purpose and can result in damage to property and
personal injury.
Clatronic International GmbH is not liable for any damage
attributed to improper use.

Unpacking the appliance

• Remove the appliance from the packaging.
• Remove all packaging material such as plastic film, filling
material and cardboard packaging.
• Check the package contents.
Note:
Dust or production remainders can still be present on the
appliance. We recommend cleaning the appliance as
described in chapter "Cleaning".
Operation and instructions for use
Location
A skid-proof, even surface is suitable as installation location.
Electrical connection
Connect the mains cable to correctly installed and earthed
socket 230 V, 50 Hz.
Install Attachment
• Select an attachment and attach it to the
shaft at the bottom of the jug.
- Use attachment "A" for warming up
a variety of liquids.
- Use attachment "B" for frothing milk.
• To remove an attachment simply pull it
off the shaft.
