Before installation the local power grid specification should be compared with that of the
device (see type label).
Connect the device only in case of compliance!
Take note of the security advice!

5.2 Installation and connection

CAUTION!
The installation and maintenance of the appliance should only be carried out by trained
personnel!
•
Discard the complete packing material after unpacking the device.
•
Place the device on top of an even and safe surface which supports the weight of the device
and is not heat sensitive.
•
Not at any time should you place the device on an inflammable surface (such as: table cloth,
carpet, etc.).
•
You must not position the device near open fireplaces, electric ovens/arc furnaces,
furnaces/electric heaters or other heat sources.
•
The electrical circuit in the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect the unit
directly to the wall socket; do not use any extension cords or power strips.
•
Position the device in a way so that the power plug is always accessible.

5.3 Operating

•
Before the first use, the interior of the display case and grated shelves should be cleaned using
a soft, moist cloth and gentle detergent. When finished, wipe the unit dry.
•
Remove the water tray from the unit. It is located inside the unit and is intended for maintaining
moisture in the display case (especially important with bread, so that it will not dry up quickly).
•
The current level of humidity in the display case can be read on the hygrometer indicator in
front on the bottom left side of the unit.
•
Fill the tray with water.
TIP!
Only pour enough water so that it does not overflow.
Observe the water level in the tray. If necessary, add water.
•
Connect the device to a single grounded outlet.
ATTENTION!
Always connect the mains cable to the socket on the device before connecting it to the mains!
•
Turn on the unit using the on/off switch located on the back wall of the unit.
