Dry Ironing; Steam Ironing - Domo DO7109S Mode D'emploi

USE
This steam generator offers 2 options: dry ironing or steam ironing. Follow the instructions below. Also
carefully read the ironing tips at the end of this section before using the appliance.

DRY IRONING

1. Place the iron on the thermal insulation pads of the steam generator.
2. Put the plug into the outlet and press the on/off button. The
indication light of the on/off button will start flashing.
3. Select the desired temperature with the temperature dial, according
to the kind of fabric that needs to be ironed. The temperature
indication light will start flashing and the iron will start warming up.
4. When the temperature indication light stays on, the selected
temperature has been reached. You can now start ironing.
Caution: Never touch the hot soleplate!

STEAM IRONING

Caution: do not plug in the appliance yet at this point.
1. Open the filling cap and fill the water tank with water. Make sure that you do not exceed the
maximum level (2 L). Use only mains water or 50 % mains water and 50 % de-mineralised water if
you have hard water.
2. Close the filling opening.
3. Put the plug into the outlet and press the on/off button. Set the
temperature dial to the desired temperature, according to the kind of
fabric. The temperature indication light and the indication light of the
on/off button will continue flashing.
4. The water in the water reservoir will heat up. When the temperature
indication light stays on, the appliance has reached the right
temperature. When the indication light of the on/off button stays on,
you can iron with steam.
5. To iron with steam, press the steam button on the inside of the iron's
handle. A continuous flow of steam will come out of the sole. When you release the button, you will
iron dry, without steam.
6. Use a steam boost to get rid of stubborn wrinkles. Press the steam button twice in rapid succession.
There is a 15-second wait in order to use the steam boost a 2nd time. Please note: the steam amount
must be set to medium or high.
Please note:
· Do not touch the hot sole of the iron!
· Never aim steam at people!
7. Press the ECO button to iron on a lower steam level. The indication light of this
button will light up to indicate this function is in use.
8. After ironing, press the on/off button and the appliance will switch off. All indication lights will go
out. Disconnect the plug from the socket. Let the appliance cool down completely. When the steam
button or the buttons on the control panel are not being used for 10 minutes, the indication lights
will start flashing. If you press a button during that time, the iron will keep its temperature. If you do
not have pressed a button during 30 minutes, the appliance will switch off automatically. This is a
safety precaution in case you forget to turn off the appliance.
