4.3 AFNOR or impulses slave Clock
The time on the AFNOR/Irig-b slave clock will be set automatically.
After a reset or a time setting, the clock search each minute, during 20 seconds, until it get synchronised.
Minute or ½ minute slave clocks must be set to the time of time distribution network.
Remark : See the chapter "Technician Menu" page 33 to parameter to time distribution.
Caution : In case of no AFNOR synchronisation message :
- After powering up the clock, the time will not be running and the clock will only display two
points.
It is always possible to modify the time setting but the time will not be running and the cock will
only display the two points.
4.4 DHF clock
Caution: when installing the clock, the master clock Sigma or the transmitter must be set to INIT mode.
DHF clocks are self-setting clocks.
- After powering up the clock, the clock displays INIT for 5 seconds then 00:00.
The synchronisation search is limited to 4 hours. Beyond, the clock stops searching and displays
only 2 fixed dots. A press on one of the keys will restart the synchronisation search for 4 hours.
It memorises the address of the transmitter and switches to normal mode automatically when
time is received.
