Installation

Install the Door Sprocket
Remove existing door sprocket. You MUST use the door sprocket provided in order for
the door operator to function correctly.
The instructions below describe the general installation procedure. Refer to the door
manufacturer for specifi c instructions regarding your door.
LIVE SHAFT
1.
Slide the door sprocket onto the end of the door shaft.
2.
Mark and drill a hole through the door shaft.
3.
Attach the door sprocket to the door shaft with the through bolt and nylock nut.
DEAD SHAFT
1.
Slide the door sprocket onto the end of the door shaft.
2.
Attach the door sprocket to the door drum with the through bolts, fl at washers,
tubular spacers, and fl ange nuts.
