Mounting the product
Control unit
1. Unscrew the two housing screws at the front of the control unit.
1. Remove the grey upper part of the housing from the black base.
2. Mount the black base to the wall using two fastening screws (DIN 96, 4 x
35, though the mounting holes).
3. Connect the unit electrically, see chapter "Electrical connection".
4. Select the operating mode, see chapter "Setting the operating mode".
5. Refit the grey upper part of the housing on the black base.
6. Fasten the upper part of the housing with the two housing screws.
- Verify that the contact bar of the printed circuit board does not damage
the contact springs of the black base.
Probe
Splashes of the liquid may cause unwanted responses of the PTC ther-
mistor. Select the installation site of the PTC thermistor probe in such a
way that splashes of the liquid cannot cause unwanted responses of the
PTC thermistor.
1. Fasten the PTC thermistor probe(s) at the desired tank height(s).
2. Drill threaded holes G1" into the tank cover for mounting.
3. If the probe is suspended without support, push the enclosed brass
weight over the cable all the way to the probe head so that the probe head
with the PTC thermistor always hangs down vertically and does not float
in the liquid.
