Loading - attachment of extension parts.
First, install the transverse roof rack on the longitudinal roof rack.
Then attach additional attachment parts to it (e.g. bicycle holder, ski
holder, roof box, etc., and follow the relevant instructions for the specifi c
additional attachment part).

Attention. We recommend using only accessories for T-slots
or collet chucks, where care must be taken not to damage
the additional aerodynamic elements and the surface protection
of the roof rack's cross member.
For the same reason, we do not recommend using U-clamps.
This is not reason for a complaint.
Installation Procedure
Fig. 3A, 3B, 3C
• Position the transverse roof racks on the Superb Combi (NZ5) according to
the dimensions provided in Fig. 3A, position the transverse roof racks on the
Kodiaq (PS) according to Fig. 3B and position the transverse roof racks on
the Elroq (PY) according to Fig. 3C.

• Turn the key to the vertical (unlocked) position and pull out the cover.
The cover is used to control the red clamping mechanism.

• Before inserting the cover into the red mechanism in the foot of the
transverse roof rack, check the position of the red mechanism.
• If the red mechanism is in the incorrect position, push it downwards
so that it returns to the correct position (this is only possible with the
transverse roof rack removed).

• Insert the cover in the direction of arrow 2A with a rocking movement
into the red mechanism in the feet of the transverse roof rack. Push the
cover until it clicks into the red mechanism, see arrow 2B, so that the red
mechanism lock is in the cover opening - arrow 3.
Attention. Be careful not to slide the cover under the tongue of
the red mechanism - arrow 2C.

• Then tilt the cover upwards to release the clamping mechanism in the
foot of the transverse roof rack.
Attention. Make sure that the red mechanism lock is still in the
cover opening during the entire handling process - Fig. 7
- arrow 3.
