If the clothing care instructions forbid ironing (
item may not be steamed with the appliance . Ignoring this warning could
lead to permanent damage to the clothing item .

Do not treat leather, velvet, waterproofed furniture or fabrics that are
sensitive to steam . Doing so could damage the textile or the piece of
furniture .

Before using the appliance, familiarise yourself with the manufacturer's care
instructions on the label of your clothing .

If are not sure whether you should steam the clothing, test the appliance on a
non-visible part of the clothing first, e .g . on the inseam .

Apply the clothes brush

Avoid any direct contact between the steam head

Heavier fabrics may need to be steamed for longer .
♦
Fabrics absorb moisture during steaming . Always allow garments to dry
completely after steaming .
