tightened. If you do, you could cause damage to the drive mechanism.
Docking the adjustment key with the precision boring head
Slowly pull the handwheel of the adjustment key backwards.

By pulling the handwheel back, the Allen key is drawn inwards and docking

with the precision boring head is simplified.
Check contact point of the adjustment key and contact point of the precision

boring head for cleanliness, and clean if necessary.
Position the adjustment key so that the position marker (arrow) is pointing in

the direction of the toothing on the head.
Press the handwheel forewards. By pressing the handwheel forwards, the Allen
key is pushed forwards and reaches into the hexagon of the adjustment spindle.
To remove the adjustment key, first pull the handwheel backwards and then pull
off the adjustment key.
