Operating personnel
Components must be operated only by instructed personnel familiar with the
workings and use of the MicroKom BluFlex ® precision drilling system and with
its safeguards.

Intended use

The MicroKom BluFlex ® precision boring head, the adjustment key and the
display unit are intended only for boring, reboring and OD turning operations.
The MicroKom BluFlex ® precision boring head must be fitted and operated only
in the machine tools for which it is intended.
Any use of the MicroKom BluFlex ® precision drilling system for any other purpose
cannot be considered intended use.
Intended use also includes observance of all information and instructions in these
operating instructions.
Only trained and instructed personnel are permitted to work on the product (see
Operating personnel).
The tool is usually operated as follows:
- Assemble the tool
- Always adjust the slide in the same direction
- Move the slide to an approximate measurement in absolute mode
- Adjust the premachining diameter on the tool prestting device
- Create the hole
- Measure
- Set the precision adjustment in difference mode

Improper use

Any use other than the uses listed above is prohibited because improper use could
result in hazards that may cause injury to the persons who are working with or
in the vicinity of the MicroKom BluFlex ® precision drilling system or may cause
damage to the product.
Maintenance
The MicroKom BluFlex ® precision drilling system is maintenance-free.

- Components that are not in perfect working condition must be exchanged.
