Coarse adjustment:
• Set adjustment scale 6 as far as stop in the minus direction to obtain as large
a micro-adjustment range as possible.
• To compensate for reverse play, adjust the adjustment scale 6 by half a turn in
the plus direction.
• Loosen the holding screw 4.
• With the differential screw 5 preset to the nominal dimension within about
0.02 mm.
Fine adjustment:
• Set to dimension using the adjustment scale 6.
• 1 graduation  0.002 mm.
