SIDE DISCHARGING
To attach/remove the side-
discharge chute (Fig. 5)
NOTICE:
Make sure that the underside
of the deck is clean before using the side-
discharge chute.
1. Switch off the mower and remove
the battery pack.
2. Remove the grass bag and set the
clip selector knob in the "BAG"
position.
3. Lift the rear-discharge door.
4. Align the lower edge of the side-discharge chute with the hole of the doorsill and
insert it into the hole.
5. Hook the top of the side-discharge chute on the pivot rod. Check to see that it is
securely seated in the place.
6. Release the rear-discharge door and make sure that it rests firmly against the
side-discharge chute.
7. To remove the side-discharge chute, lift the rear-discharge door, lift the side
discharge chute up and pull it out.
8. Release the rear-discharge door.
