5. LOWER OPERATING POSITION
Press and hold the quick-adjust lever with one hand to release the handle from
the middle operating position. Begin to lower the handle with your other hand, and
then release the lever. Gently pivot the handle downward until you hear and feel
the lock pin engage in the Lower Operating Position. Fully extend the side rails
and securely close the handle-locking clamp (Fig. 2c).
NOTE:
The motor cannot be started unless:
1) The side rails are fully extended.
2) The green handle-locking clamp is securely closed.
3) The handle is locked into one of the three operating positions.

CLIP SELECTOR KNOB (Fig. 3)
Place the clip selector knob in any one of the five positions to achieve the desired
mowing results.
The knob can adjust a sliding door from the fully open ("BAG" position) to the fully
closed ("MULCH" position ).
By adjusting the clip selector knob, various mowing conditions can be met.
To reposition the knob, pull the knob out of the detent and set it to the desired
position.
