20. Installation of the protective shield and rotation disk
To attach the protective shield to the trimmer, make sure that the holes for the screws are correctly
aligned.
To do this, place the opening of the label over the head of the battery trimmer and turn it so that the
plastic rails snap into each other. As already mentioned, pay attention to the correct position of the
drill holes. Now fasten the protective shield with the 2 screws supplied.
The rotation disk can then be attached to the center of the sensor head with the supplied screw.
21. Settings before use
Adjust shaft length
Adjust the grass trimmer to your height. To do this, loosen the threaded sleeve on the shaft coupling
(Figure 1, item 9). Pull out the lower shaft until the ideal spar length is reached. Tighten the threaded
sleeve
Adjusting the handlebars
Adjust the handlebar to your height. To do this, press the button on both sides of the handlebar and
keep it pressed (Figure 1, item 10). Place the handlebar in the desired position. Release the button
when the desired position is reached.
Adjust head tilt
With the grass trimmer, 3 angles of head tilt can be adjusted. This allows you to easily reach
problematic and hard to reach places in the garden. The cutting head should always be parallel to the
ground. Press the locking knob (fig. 1, point 4) to set the desired working angle.
Plant hoop guard
The plant protection bar protects shrubs, trees, and bedding plants. If the plant protection bar is not
needed, it can be folded up.
