CARE & MAINTENANCE
1.
Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient, easier to
control and will have fewer problems.
2.
Check and tighten all loose screws, bolts and nuts.
3.
Inspect the tool components periodically. Repair or replace damaged or
worn components. Only use identical replacement parts when servicing.
4.
Have a qualified technician inspect the jack:
a.
Once a year.
b.
After receiving a shock load. Take the jack out of service until the
technician certifies that it is safe to use.
5.
Maintain the tool' s labels and name plates. These carry important
information. If unreadable or missing, contact Princess Auto Ltd. for
replacements.
WARNING! Only qualified service personnel should repair the tool. An
improperly repaired tool may present a hazard to the user and/or others.
LUBRICATION
Inspect and lubricate the tool when required. Only use light oil to lubricate the
tool. Other lubricants may not be suitable and could damage the tool or cause a
malfunction during use.
1.
Clean and lubricate all moving parts with.
2.
Coat areas that may rust with a light film of oil.
1.
Lower the lift and apply the one or two pumps of grease through the
grease zerk.
2.
Raise the support bar to the mid-way point and add another two pumps of
grease.
3.
Fully raise the lift and add another two pumps of grease.
4.
Lower and raise the lift at least two or three times to distribute the
grease.
