22. Insert the second M10 x65 bolt
through the jack base brackets and
the cylinder connection point (Fig.
5-1). Slide another M10 washer onto
the bolt and secure with M10 nut.
Tighten with a wrench.
23. Screw each bumper (#9) into the end
(#6) of the support bar ends (Fig. 6).
24. Place the end of the crank handle
over the hex anvil (22mm) on the
end of the screw jack (Fig. 6).
OPERATIONS
1.
Move the snowmobile lift to the work area.
2.
Place the hand crank over the jack's anvil and turn the handle
counterclockwise to fully lower the lift.
3.
Maneuver the snowmobile over the lift. Try to position it so the
snowmobile's weight is evenly distributed.
4.
Turn off the engine if it is running and allow to cool before touching the
vehicle.
5.
Rotate the hand crank clockwise to raise the vehicle until it is just off
the surface. Check that it is properly balanced and adjust the position, if
necessary.
6.
Continue raising the lift until the jack base and swing arms are at a 90º
angle to the frame. Do not over-extend the ram or stop before the arms
are at 90º.
7.
Remove the hand crank and proceed with your task.
8.
When ready, place the hand crank over the anvil and rotate the handle
counterclockwise until it is fully lowered and the vehicle is resting on the
ground.
