SNOWMOBILE LIFT
Suggested Solution(s)
1.
Loosen bolts a quarter turn and test for smooth
movement.
2.
Loosen bolt slightly and apply grease to the gap
to reduce friction. Retighten the bolt. Move the
component to spread the grease.
When faced with a choice of replacing or repairing
a damaged component, it is better to replace the
component. There may be additional damage that you
are unable to see. Always have a certified individual
conduct repairs and tests to the crane's structure.
1.
Exceeded weight capacity or metal fatigue from
regular use. Disassemble the lift and repair (weld)
or replace damaged components.
2.
Check if rust is only on the surface or if it
has penetrated the metal. Remove surface rust
and repaint section. When rust has penetrated
structure, repair or replace the component.
3.
Exceeded weight capacity or impacted against
a structure. Replace the damaged component. A
straightened component may still be weak and
could fail.
