OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
POWER ON
• When you plug the appliance into the power
socket, it will go into Standby Mode
• Press the
button to turn the appliance ON
• The last active function before the appliance was
turned off will appear
OPERATING MODES
COOL Mode
Ideal for hot, muggy weather when you need to cool
and dehumidify a room
To set this mode:
• Press the
button until the MODE symbol is
on "cool"
• Using the increase and decrease buttons, select
the target temperature, between 18 °C - 32 °C
(64 °F - 90 °F), until the corresponding value is
displayed on the screen
• Select the required fan speed by pressing the
button until you reach the desired fan
speed: High, Low, Auto
Note: The most suitable temperature for the room
during the summer will vary from 24 °C to 27
°C (75 °F to 81 °F). It is recommended to set the
appliance temperature just below the outdoor
temperature.
FAN Mode
The air hose does not need to be attached in this
mode
To set this mode:
• Press the
button until the MODE symbol is
on "fan"
• Select the required fan speed by pressing the
button until you reach the desired fan
speed: High, Low, Auto

DRY Mode
Ideal to reduce the humidity in a room (in the
spring, fall, and in damp rooms during rainy
periods)
The air hose will need to be attached in this mode to
enable moisture to be discharged
To set this mode:
• Press the
button until the MODE symbol is
on "dry"
• The screen will display "
• The fan speed is set automatically in this mode,
it cannot be set manually
SMART Mode
When this mode is set, the appliance will
automatically choose to operate in cool, fan or dry
mode
To set this mode:
• Press the
button until the display screen
appears like the image below:
• Select the required fan speed by pressing the
button until you reach the desired fan
speed: High, Low, Auto
• Note: if the appliance is a cooling only model,
the unit operates in FAN mode when the room
temperature is below 23 °C (73 °F) and in
COOL mode when the room temperature is
above 23 °C (73 °F).
Display will be flashing in a circular pattern (as
shown above)
