to its lowest position.
10• Press the front lever located inside the base, as shown
in the figure, to extract the Isofix fasteners.
11• Open the rear panel and extract the Top Tether straps (TT).
When the Top Tether is not in use, place it in the
storage compartment and fasten it as shown.
12• Fasten the booster seat Isofix joints to the car seat
fasteners until they click. To do this, press the red
buttons as shown in figure.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the child seat is securely
fastened by checking that the indicators to the sides of
the child seat's Isofix fasteners become green on both
sides (as shown in the figure).
13• For the child seat to adhere completely to the car seat,
pull the base's front strap towards you and at the same
time push the child seat against the car seat (as shown
in the figure).
IMPORTANT: When finished, move the child seat to
ensure the Isofix fasteners are securely fastened.
TOP TETHER FASTENER
IMPORTANT: There are three main variations to the
Top Tether strap fasteners.
1 4• Type A:
- Lift the headrest and slip the straps underneath.
- Fasten the TT strap fastener to the clearly visible car
fastener, as shown in the figure.
Tighten the belt and check belt tension is correct using
the mechanism highlighted in green.
IMPORTANT: To fit the belts correctly, pull them
firmly.
15• Type B:
- Lift the headrest and slip the straps underneath.
- Fasten the TT strap fastener to the car fastener, placed
on the rear of the backrest, as shown in the figure.
Tighten the belt and check belt tension is correct using
the mechanism highlighted in green.
IMPORTANT: To fit the belts correctly, pull them
firmly.
16• Type C:
- Lift the headrest and slip the straps underneath.
- Fasten the TT strap fastener to the car fastener placed
in the boot. This is generally marked by the Top Tether
symbol, as shown in the figure. Lift the cover and
fasten.
IMPORTANT: To fit the belts correctly, pull them
firmly.
For any other fastening system, consult your
vehicle's instruction booklet.
How to put the child in the Viaggio 1
Duo-Fix TT car seat
1 7• Before sitting the child on the stroller, release the safety
harness by pushing the red button in the buckle of the
leg divider strap.
18• Lift the safety harness and attach the buckles to the
elastics in the sides.
19• Sit the child in the stroller and adjust the safety straps round
the child' s shoulders and waist, as shown in the picture.
20• Fasten the harness by overlapping the two straps and
inserting the buckles into the leg divider strap until
they click into place.
21• The child is sitting correctly with the safety harness
fastened properly.
22• To tighten the strap, pull the central adjusting strap
towards you as shown in the picture. The straps will
tighten round the child. Be careful not to pull too much.
IMPORTANT: Do not tighten too much (the
harness should be loose enough for you to slip a
finger between the strap and the child's chest).
23• To loosen the safety straps, push the button in the
middle of the car seat and at the same time pull the
straps towards you.
IMPORTANT: Grab hold of the safety harness
under the shoulder pads, as shown in the picture.
• The seat has a booster cushion which is suitable for
small babies and when the safety harnesses are in the
first level. When the child is older, remove the booster
cushion.
2 4• To remove the booster cushion, pull it out of the safety
harness and the sides of the car seat.
