Temperature setting button
Note: Do not use sharp objects to operate the control
panel. They can scratch or damage the control panel.
Switching on
When you connect the mains plug to a power socket,
the appliance switches on and starts operating.
Switching off
To switch off the appliance, disconnect the mains plug
from the power socket.
Display
When the refrigerator is first plugged in, the whole
display illuminates for 3 seconds, and then the
refrigerator runs according to setting
•
During normal operation, the control panel
indicates the temperature setting of the
refrigerator.
•
In case of a fault in the refrigerator, the relevant
indicators will be lit.
Setting the temperature of refrigerator
compartment

The temperature setting range for refrigerator
compartment is 33.8-41 °F (1-5 °C).
To set the temperature, press the temperature setting

button one or more times until the indicator for
the desired set temperature lights up. The appliance
will operate according to the new set temperature in
5 seconds.
The temperature changes in this order:

Important! If the ambient temperature is high or
the appliance is fully loaded, and the appliance is set
to the lowest temperatures, it may run continuously
causing frost to form on the rear wall. In this
case a higher temperature must be set to allow
automatic defrosting and therefore reduced energy
consumption.
Tips:
•
The lower the set temperature, the longer you can
safely store your food and the more electricity the
appliance consumes.
•
The higher the set temperature, the quicker your
stored food spoils and the less electricity the
appliance consumes.
Setting the temperature of freezer compartment
Recommended temperature: Colder (
The temperature setting range is:
Cold ( ), Colder (
Turn the temperature control knob to adjust the
freezer compartment temperature.
•
Cold: When the knob is set to the Cold position,
the freezer temperature is higher but helps to save
energy. Use this setting when less food is to be
frozen.
•
Colder: Recommended setting for normal use.
•
Coldest: When the knob is set to the Coldest
position, the freezer operates at the coldest
temperature. Only use this setting for a short time
when freezing a large amount of food at once, as it
can cause ice buildup in the freezer and also uses
more energy.
Fault indication
In case of a fault in the refrigerator, the relevant
indicators will be lit.
