The optimal storage
1.
The Ice cream container of the appliance is not suitable for storing the ice
cream, it is only intended for preparation. A container with a lid should be
used for longer storage.
2.
Also make sure you remove your ice cream from the machine in good time
and set a maximum temperature of -10 to -15 °C when storing it in the
freezer compartment, as ice cream freezes at -18 °C and therefore remains
creamy. Before eating, it is advisable to leave the ice cream to thaw in the
fridge for 15-30 minutes.
3.
Ice can generally be stored in the freezer compartment or a freezer. The
formation of ice crystals in your own container can be avoided by ensuring
that it always contains as little air as possible or by storing it upside down.
This causes the crystals to form on the lid (at the bottom). Homemade ice
cream should be consumed within a week.
Note
Ice cream always tastes much sweeter before freezing than the resulting
ice cream.

The preparation of yoghurt
To prepare yoghurt in the ice cream maker, proceed as follows:
1.
The stirring part is generally not used when making yoghurt, so do not
remove it from the Ice cream container.
2.
Prepare the ingredients for the yoghurt according to the recipe. Then
pour the yoghurt mixture into the Ice cream container and place it in the
cooling housing, if it is not already there.
3.
Place the lid on the cooling housing so that the small filler opening points
to the top left and turn it anti-clockwise until the handle is in line with the
display.
4.
Now switch the ice cream maker on by pressing the On / Off button.
5.
Select the program for yoghurt preparation by pressing the
corresponding button. The display shows "08 H", the standard running
time for yoghurt preparation of approx. 1 litre of classic yoghurt.
Note
After the first hour of the preparation time, check whether preparation is in
progress, as this is often not easy to determine from the outside (due to a
lack of stirring). Some heat should emanate from the Ice cream container
and the "Yogurt" yoghurt symbol should flash.
6.
Now press the Start / Pause button to start the process.
7.
Check at regular intervals whether the yoghurt is ready before the end
of the programme or has reached the desired consistency. If this is the
case, you can end the program prematurely by pressing the Start/Pause
button.
8.
Once the production process is complete, the appliance automatically
switches to the Cooling program.
9.
Switch off the appliance, pull the plug out of the socket and remove the
yoghurt as described in the section: Removing the finished ice cream.
Note
Do not remove the Ice cream container during the entire preparation time
and do not stir the mixture to avoid damaging the yoghurt ferment.
