Before first use
•
Carefully remove the ice cream maker from the packaging and remove
all packaging materials.
•
Clean the device to remove any packaging residue, for example by wiping
it with a slightly damp microfibre cloth or a sponge.
•
Check that all parts of the ice cream maker are complete and undamaged.
Important
•
Before using the ice cream maker for the first time or after it has been
moved or tilted, leave it in the same place for at least 2 hours so that the
coolant in the compressor can disperse and settle. To do this, remove the
lid from the appliance.
•
Place the ice cream maker on a stable, level surface to ensure safe
operation.
Note
When you use this appliance for the first time, you may notice a slight odour.
This is not unusual with brand new motors - the odour will disappear after
the motor has been running for a while.

The functions of the ice cream maker
Meaning of the buttons and icons
The ice cream maker is operated via the touchscreen display. The buttons and
icons have the following meanings:
Buttons / Icons
Explanation
On/Off button
Use the On / Off button to switch the ice cream
machine on and off again after preparation. Take care
not to switch the machine on and off too often at short
intervals, otherwise the compressor may be damaged.
There should be at least 5 minutes between switching
the machine on and off.
Start/Pause button
The Start / Pause button is used to pause the current
preparation mode and can be resumed by pressing
this button again.
+ / - Selection buttons
By pressing these buttons, you can control or change
the duration of stirring, cooling, ice cream preparation
or yoghurt preparation. Pressing the corresponding
button once increases or decreases the set time by one
minute (by one hour for yoghurt preparation). This is
also possible during a paused preparation process.
"Ice Cream"
In ice preparation mode, the contents of the ice cream
container are cooled down considerably with constant
stirring. This mode is active after the appliance is
initially switched on. The standard time and maximum
time for ice-cream preparation mode is 70 minutes.
The minimum time for this mode is 5 minutes.
"Cooling"
The cooling symbol indicates whether the ice cream
maker is cooling the ice cream container. The
preselected cooling time is 10 minutes. The preparation
time can be adjusted in the range from 5 minutes to 70
minutes using the +/- buttons.
