3.1. Cleaning
Before using the safe, it is advisable to clean the inside and outside of the product.
Use a soft cloth, warm water and a neutral detergent. Rinse the surface using clean water and dry
it, making sure it is completely dry.
Take special care with the keyboard part, where the electronic circuits are housed, as they may be
damaged if exposed to excessive moisture. Perform similar cleaning on a regular basis for optimal
preservation of the product.
These safes should not be embedded in the floor; for this purpose we recommend our wide range
of floor safes.
Do not use aggressive, abrasive or soda containing chemicals. They could damage the
surface and the exterior finish of the product.
The bolts of the safe have been greased for better use and longer life. Do not wipe off this grease,
it is necessary for the correct functioning of the mechanical system.
3.2. Condition and replacement of batteries
If when pressing any key the box emits long beeps accompanied by the flashing red light, it indicates
that the batteries are running low.
As soon as the batteries begin to run down, the system will allow about 100 more openings.
Open your safe as usual (if the batteries are completely depleted, use the master key or an external
battery - See 4.5) and replace the batteries located on the inside of the door.
Make sure you use only x4 x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. Place them in the correct position.
We recommend changing the batteries once a year.
