CONSEJOS DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
La edad y otros factores pueden afectar a la densidad de la piel
de sus dedos, por lo que el reconocimiento de huellas puede no
ser preciso. Registre siempre varias huellas dactilares y tenga
una copia de su código personal (PIN).
Cuando programe su huella dactilar, coloque su dedo en una
posición central en el scanner. Asegúrese de que sus dedos están
secos y limpios antes de tocar la superficie del escáner.
NO guarde las llaves de emergencia dentro de la caja fuerte.
Incluye batería externa de emergencia para reestablecer
temporalmente la alimentación.

INSTALACIÓN
Abra la caja fuerte a través de la cerradura de seguridad con
las llaves incluidas.
La cerradura está situada detrás de la tapa central. (Quitar la
tapa desde la esquina derecha).
Retire la tapa y localice la cerradura de emergencia.
Inserte la llave y gire en el sentido contrario a las agujas del
reloj. No retire la llave.
Gire el pomo en el sentido de las agujas del reloj y abra la
caja fuerte.
Gire la llave en el sentido de las agujas del reloj, después
retírela de la cerradura.
Instalación de pilas:
Use solo pilas AA 1,5V alcalinas. Retire la tapa en la parte trasera
de la puerta e instale las cuatro pilas. Asegúrese de que las
posiciones + y - son correctas.

USO
·Inicio: Pulse el botón rojo Reset situado detrás de la puerta
y manténgalo pulsado durante aprox. 10 segundos. Cuando
escuche un beep largo y el LED verde se encienda, el sistema
se habrá iniciado. Para abrir la caja fuerte, introduzca el código
por defecto 1234 y pulse la tecla de encendido. Gire el pomo
para abrir la puerta.
·Utilización mediante huellas dactilares:
Registro de huellas dactilares (Máximo 32 huellas dactilares).
Abra la caja fuerte y pulse el botón Reset. Escuchará 2 beeps, y
la luz del escáner se encenderá. Durante 5 segundos, situe su
dedo en el centro del escáner. Cuando escuche un beep largo y
el LED verde se encienda, su huella dactilar se habrá registrado.
Puede registrar hasta 31 huellas diferentes más.
Notas: 3 beeps cortos indican un registro fallido, o que el
tiempo de espera ha concluído. 6 beeps cortos indican que el
almacenamiento está lleno.
Apertura por reconocimiento de huella dactilar:
Pulse la tecla de encendido para activar la caja fuerte. La luz
del escáner se encenderá. Coloque su dedo en la pantalla del
escáner hasta que su luz se apague. Escuchará un beep largo y
el LED verde se encenderá. Durante 5 segundos, gire el pomo

para abrir la puerta.
Notas: 3 beeps cortos con el LED rojo encendido indican que
ha habido un fallo en la coincidencia con la huella. Cambie a
otro dedo registrado para abrir o use su código de usuario. El
reconocimiento de huellas podría no funcionar bien si su dedo
está sucio, aceitoso o húmedo, después de un baño, o si la
pantalla del escáner está sucia, con polvo o manchada.
·Utilización mediante código personal (PIN):
Programación de su código personal (4 a 8 dígitos). Pulse
la tecla "1" durante 2 segundos hasta que el LED verde se
encienda. Introduzca el código previo (código de fábrica:
1234) y pulse la tecla de activación. Después de un beep largo,
introduzca el nuevo código. Pulse la tecla de activación, y,
después de 2 beeps, reintroduzca el nuevo código y pulse de
nuevo la tecla de activación. Un beep largo indica que el código
fue programado con éxito. 3 beeps cortos indican un fallo.
Apertura con código personal. Introduzca su código personal y
pulse la tecla de activación. Después de un beep largo y cuando
el LED verde se encienda, gire el pomo para abrir la puerta
durante los siguientes cinco segundos.
·Borrado de datos:
Para borrar todas las huellas grabadas y el código personal, pulse
el botón reset durante 20 segundos hasta que escuche un beep
largo y el LED verde deje de parpadear.
·Aviso de baterías agotadas:Reemplace todas las pilas si el LED
rojo se enciende al abrir la caja.
·Apertura con llave de emergencia:
Introducir la llave, girar a la izquierda 90º y mantenerla.
Después, girar el Pomo para su apertura. Si pierde la llave, puede
encontrar el número de llave en la superficie de la cerradura,
o en una pegatina debajo de la tapa central. Contacte con el
Servicio al Cliente para pedir un duplicado.
·Modo silencioso: La caja fuerte Tecna dispone de Modo
Silencioso. Para activarlo, pulse "4" durante 3 segundos. Se
desactivarán todos los sonidos y la caja fuerte mostrará sus
operaciones solamente con los indicadores LED. Para reactivarlo,
pulse de nuevo "4" durante 3 segundos.

CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO
Para maximizar el rendimiento del producto, mantenga la
superficie del escáner seco y limpio.
Use un paño seco para retirar cualquier mancha o huella del
escáner después de su uso.
Compruebe las huellas dactilares registradas y el código PIN
cada 6 meses.
Sitúe la caja en un lugar apropiado para prevenir caídas que
puedan ocasionar daños o lesiones.
NO GUARDE LA LLAVE DE EMERGENCIA DENTRO DE LA CAJA
FUERTE.

OPERATING TIPS
The age of a person and other factors can affect the density
of the skin, including the skin on your fingers. Fingerprint
recognition may not be accurate for this reason. Register always
several fingerprints and have a back-up personal code (pin).
When programming your fingerprint, put your finger in a
central location on the scanner. Make sure that your fingers are
dry and clean before touching the scanner.
DO NOT store the emergency keys in the safe.
This product includes an emergency external battery pack for
you to plug into the port on the safe to temporarily restore the
power.

SETTING UP
Open the safe by the emergency lock with the keys provided.
The keyhole is situated behind the centre cover. (Lift up from
the right corner).
Take off the cover. Locate the emergency override lock.
Insert the override key and turn anti-clockwise to the end. Do
not release the key.
Meanwhile use your other hand to turn the knob clockwise and
then open the safe.
Turn the key clockwise, then take out the key and keep it.
Install the batteries:
Only use 1.5V alkaline AA batteries. To install the batteries,
remove the battery cover plate at the back of the door and
install the four batteries. Ensure the + and - positions are
correct.

TO USE
·Initializing: Press the red reset button located on the back
of the door, and hold down on for approximately 10 seconds.
When you hear a long beep and the green LED light turns on, the
system has been initialized successfully. To open the safe, enter
the default code 1234 and then press the power key. Turn the
knob to open the door.
·Fingerprint scanner operation:
Fingerprint registration (Maximum 32 fingerprints).
Open the safe, press the reset button on the back of the door.
You will hear 2 beeps, and the scanner window will light up.
Place your finger in the centre of the window for 5 sconds.
When you hear a long beep and the LED green indicator turns
on, your fingerprint has been successfully registered. You can
register up to 31 additional different fingerprints.
Notes: 3 short beeps indicate registration failure, or the
waiting time for registration has expired. 6 short beeps indicate
registered users storage is full.
Unlocking by fingerprint recognition:
Press the power key to activate the safe. The fingerprint scanner
light will turn on. Press finger on the window until the light turns
off. You will hear a long beep and the LED green indicator will

turn on. Within the next 5 seconds, turn the knob to open
the door.
Notes: 3 short beeps with the LED red light turned on indicate
fingerprint matching failure. Switch to another registered finger
to unlock or use your digital code to open the safe. Fingerprint
recognition may not work properly if your finger is soiled, oily or
damp, or after extended bathing or swimming, or if the scanner
window is dirty, dusty or smeared.
·Personal (PIN) code operation:
Programming your personal code (4-8 digits). To program a
new personal code press "1" key for 2 seconds until the green
LED light turns on. Enter previous code (factory pre-set code
is 1234) and press the power key. After the long beep, enter
the new code. Then press the power key, and after 2 beeps,
re-enter the new code and press the power key. A long beep
indicates the code was programmed successfully. 3 short beeps
indicate failure.
Unlocking with personal code. Enter your personal code and
press the power key. After a long beep and when the green light
turns on, turn the knob to open the door within 5 seconds.
·Clear all:
To delete the user's fingerprint records and personal code,
press the reset button for 20 seconds until you hear a long beep
and the green LED light stops flashing. All personal codes and
fingerprint records will be cleared.
·Low battery warning:
Please replace all batteries if red LED lights turns on while
opening the safe.
·Unlock with override key:
Insert the key, turn left 90º and hold. Then, turn the knob for
opening. Use the override key to open the safe. If you lose your
key, you can find the key number on the lock surface or a sticky
label under the center cover and contact Customer Service for
a duplicate.
·Silent mode: Tecna safe has Silent Mode. To activate it, press
"4" for 3 seconds. All sounds will be deactivated and the safe
will display its operations only with LED indicators. to recover,
press "4" again for 3 seconds.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
To maximize performance of the safe, keep the glass
fingerprint scanner surface dry and clean.
Use a dry cloth to remove any smudges or prints from the
scanner after use.
Test registered fingerprints and PIN code every 6 months.
Keep liquids away from the control panel. Spills on the control
panel will cause damage.
Place the safe in a proper area to prevent it from falling and
causing damage or injury.
