Cleaning and Maintenance
Warning: Before performing maintenance, disconnect the power and close the water inlet valve(s)
to the machine. Machine should only be serviced by authorized technicians or personnel. Follow all
maintenance precautions:
General Maintenance Precautions
Warning: Certain internal parts are intentionally not grounded and may present a risk of electric shock
during servicing.
ELECTRICAL VALVE, DRAIN PUMP, DOOR LOCK, DRY HEATER, FAN MOTOR.
● WARNING - Do not use heavy duty solvents in the machine. Doing so may cause significant damage to machine
parts, or create toxic gases that may explode.
● Do not use water to wash the external machine.
● Do not use detergents containing PCMX (chloroxylenol) to clean the machine.
Cleaning the Exterior
Proper maintenance on the washing machine can extend its working life.
● The surface can be cleaned with diluted, non-abrasive neutral detergents when necessary. If there is any water
overflow, use a wet cloth to wipe it off immediately.
● Do not use sharp items to strike or scrape the washer cabinet.
● Clean the control panel with a soft, damp cloth and wipe dry immediately.
Note: Do not use heavy duty solvents such as formic acids or equivalent.
Cleaning the Interior
Rust left inside the drum by metal articles should be removed immediately with chlorine-free detergents to prevent
damage to the machine. Never use steal wool to clean inside the drum.
Cleaning the Detergent Box
The detergent box should be cleaned regularly to prevent build up and clogs.

1. Press down the arrow located on the softener cover
2. Lift the clip up and take out softener cover (Fig. 13).
3. Wash all grooves with water.
4. Replace the softener cover and push the drawer back into the closed position (Fig. 14).
Hard Water and Decalcification
If the appliance is exposed to hard water for extended periods of time, it is advisable to utilize a water treatment device
for the water coming into the coach. Prolonged hard water exposure may lead to reduced performance of the appliance
over time. For decalcification instructions, contact Furrion.
