Other considerations
Size of items: For best results, do not sort articles to be washed by size. Articles of varying sizes should be washed
together to increase the effciency of the machine.
Soft and delicate items: Delicate items made from wool or silk should be washed separately. Other delicate items such
as lace, thin handkerchiefs, etc. should be put into a pillow case that can be closed or a mesh laundry bag.
Buttons and embroidery: Decorations such as rhinestones and buttons may damage the washing machine. Turn
clothing with decorations or embroideries inside out.
Dust, stains and pet hair: Clothes covered in excessive dust, debris, stains or pet hair may damage the machine.
Remove excessive dust, debris, etc. prior to washing. Pre-treat stains as necessary.
Lint-prone clothing: Articles made from corduroy, synthetic fabrics, or other materials and dark color clothing tend to
attract lint and fuzz in the washer and dryer. To prevent excessive fuzz and lint build-up, wash these items separately.
Baby items: Baby articles such as clothes, towels, and cloth diapers should be washed separately. If they are washed
together with adults' clothes, they may become infected. Baby items should be run through an extra rinse cycle to
remove any excess detergent residue.
NOTE: Never leave clothes in the washing machine for an extended period of time. This may cause clothes to become
moldy or develop spots.
CAUTION: It is suggested to put bras, especially those with underwires, into a mesh laundry bag with a
sealable zipper or buttons to prevent the underwires from popping out into the drum and damaging the
machine.
When washing big, heavy items such as towels, jeans, jackets, etc., the machine can easily become
unbalanced. It is recommended to add a few more items to the load to prevent this from happening.
