c Press down the clamp on the cou-
pling.
4. Connect the high-pressure hose to
the high-pressure gun.
a Squeeze the clamp together.
b Pull out the clamp.
c Plug in the high-pressure hose.
d Press in the clamp until it clicks in-
to place.
5. Check the secure connections by
pulling on the high-pressure hose.
6. Insert the mains plug into an outlet.

ATTENTION
Damage due to contaminated water
Contaminated water can damage the
pump and accessories.
For protection, KÄRCHER recom-
mends the use of the KÄRCHER water
filter (special accessory, order number
4.730-059).

Damage to the pump
Never use a hose coupling with aquas-
top on the water connection of the de-
vice.
You can use an aquastop coupling on
the tap.
1. Fit the supplied hose connector to
the end of your garden hose.
2. Attach the garden hose to the cou-
pling for the water connection.
3. Connect the garden hose to the wa-
ter line.
4. Open the water tap completely.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage!
Damaging the pump during dry run-
ning.
Switch off the device if it does not build
up pressure within 2 minutes.
Proceed according to the instructions
in chapter Troubleshooting guide.
