5. Disposal
1. After fl uid processing is complete, drain the fl uid from the capsule until the internal pressure
on the capsule is reduced to 0 bar (0 psig).
2. Drain any remaining fl uid from the system and remove the external connections from the
inlet, outlet, and vent.
To reduce the risk of fl uid exposure:
• Evaluate the risk of your process liquids and determine an appropriate protocol to dispose
of spent capsules and all other waste.
• Dispose of capsules and all other waste in accordance with federal, state, and local
regulations or your local country's laws and regulations.
Intended Use:
Single-use processing of aqueous based biological pharmaceuticals (drugs) and vaccines
to remove biological contamination strictly following the product operating instructions
and cGMP requirements, where applicable.
Prohibited Use:
For laboratory use only. Not intended for use with materials that will be used on humans
or animals. Do not use as a component in a medical device that is regulated by any agency,
and/or globally exemplary agencies, including but not limited to: a) FDA, b) European
Medical Device Directive (MDD), c) Japan Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency.
Do not use in applications involving permanent implantation into the body, life-sustaining
medical applications, applications requiring Food Contact compliance.
