Remove the vermiculite panels from the burning chamber. First, remove the side panels, then the exhaust
deflector, and at last the back panel. Dust off the panels and the inside of the stove to remove dust. Remove
the burnng cave incl. bottom and grate. First, remove the burning cave's loose front piece, then carefully
remove the burning cave's bottom/grate.
Hoover hollow area behind the ash pan, around the snail and hollow area left of the snail. Remove the cover
left of the snail and hoover in the hollow area.
Clean pellet box, combustion chamber, burn cave and smoke ways (often done by the chimney sweep). The
box must be dry and clean. We recommend a yearly service check where a trained Aduro service partner
does the following:
•
Dismount the rear plate.
•
Inspect and clean fan.
•
Dismount side plate above electrical igniter and inspect this. Replace if needed, deformation or
other.
•
Dismount side plate above secondary snail. (Little snail)
•
Dismount gear-motor and snail. Clean snail and pipes. Inspect. Change o-ring and disc on internal
auger.
•
Test damper switch and door switch.
•
Dismount screws at control and carefully pull the cassette 20 cm out.
•
Clean control with vacuum cleaner, brush or air.
•
Assemble stove, connect power and add pellets.
•
Snail must be filled with pellets, see first time start-up.
Gaskets
With time, the gaskets will wear, and, to avoid wild combustion, they must be replaced as required.
Combustion chamber
The yellow tiles in the combustion chamber eventually wear out and they should be replaced when the
cracks are more that 0.5 cm. The durability of the tiles will depend on how often and how intensively the
stove is used. You can change the tiles yourself. They are available as a ready-to-use set. You can also buy
one-piece tiles that you can cut to the size of the worn plates yourself. Please visit www.aduroshop.com.
Cleaning the Aduro H1
The stove's surface is treated with a heat-resistant Senotherm® paint, which will stay at its best just by being
vacuumed with a small, soft mouthpiece or dusted with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not use water, spirit or other solvents which will remove the paint.
The inside of the Aduro H1 and the flue pipe can be cleaned via the door and the cleaning aperture in the
flue pipe/chimney. The upper fireproof tile (the exhaust deflector) can be removed. To allow free access to
the top of the Aduro H1 and the flue pipe, remove the exhaust deflector in steel. Cleaning of the inside of the
