Making popcorn

Parts of the instrument, especially the lid 2 and the measuring spoon 1,
become very hot during operation . Risk of burns!
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

Do not put any ingredients, such as sugar, salt, oil, butter, etc ., into the
popcorn chamber 6, as these can damage the appliance . Add such
ingredients to the finished popcorn after preparation and outside of the
appliance .
►
Never operate the appliance without corn grains in the popcorn chamber 6 .
►
Allow the appliance to cool for 15–20 minutes after every use before
using it again .
NOTE
►
Not all corn is suitable for popcorn production . Only use popcorn corn
supplied for this purpose .

If necessary, remove the lid 2 together with the measuring spoon 1 from
the appliance .
♦
Add a maximum of 60 g ( = 1 measuring spoon 1 filled to the brim) of corn
grains into the popcorn chamber 6 .
♦
Put the lid 2 on . Make sure that the curvature on the lid 2 lies over the
notch on the rim of the appliance . The finished popcorn is blown out of the
appliance through the ejection opening 5 .

Place the measuring spoon 1 into the upper opening in the lid 2 . The two
tabs on the measuring spoon 1 must lie in the narrow notches in the lid 2 .
NOTE

To melt butter with the appliance, follow the instructions in the section
Sweetening/salting popcorn .

Place a heat-resistant bowl under the ejection opening 5 .
♦
Set the On/Off switch 4 to "I" . The appliance starts producing popcorn .
The finished popcorn falls through the ejection opening 5 into the bowl
placed underneath .

Once all the corn has been processed, set the On/Off switch 4 to "O" .
♦
Allow the appliance to cool for 15 – 20 minutes before using it again or
cleaning .
