► Coverings with a fl eece backing:
Do not remove the wearing surface beforehand. Cut
the covering into strips and strip them together with
the fl eece backing.
► Semi-fl exible tiles:
Provided they are not extremely fl exible, semifl exible -
tiles can be removed without pre-cutting them.
► Parquet
Prior to performing the stripping work in bladewidths,
saw the parquet parallel to the installation direction.
Depending on the glue, it may need to be sawed seve-
ral times.
► Ceramic tiles
In general, it must be determined at the construction
site whether and with which tools the tiles can be
eff ectively removed.
Attention
Important blade recommendation:
In general, no statements can be made on which
blades can be used for which blades, because the
variety of coverings and surfaces are too diverse.
These recommendations are to provide assistance!
► With U-blades, the pre-cutting step in not necessary
for many fl exible coverings, the coverings must be
checked on-site.If the tyre wear is highly visible on
the surface, the U-blade should not be used.
► We recommend using fl at blades of varying lengths
and widths for fl exible, elastic fl oor coverings. The
harder the covering, the thicker the blade should be.
► The blade is generally inserted with the blade edge
up, unless it works itself too deep in the surface. In
this case, the blade must be inserted with the blade
edge down.
► The heavy-duty special blades are generally suitable
for hard coverings, such as parquet or ceramic tiles.
