3.0 Preparing the machine
3.1 Installing additional weights fi g. I+J
► The weight of the Turbo-Stripper EMK is expandable
by 1 up to 3 additional weights. 1 single weight
30 kg.
► Individual weight shifting is possible at 3 positions
3.2 Installation Handel fi g.F
► Put the handle into the bracket and fi x wit bolts and
thumb nut (3).
► When tipping the machine onto the handle, ensure a
secure footing on a solid surface
► Connect the plug of motor and handle.
► Fix coupling fi g. B.
► Disasamble in other direction.
3.3 Adjusting the handle angle fi g. F
The angle oft the handle can be fi xed into 4 position.
Loosen and remover bolt (3) and choose one of the 4
position to your comfortable angle.
3.4 Adjusting the handle height fi g. F
The height of the handle can be adjusted to adapt the ma-
chine to the stature of the operator. To adjust the inclina-
tion, loosen the thumb screw (1), pull the adjustment bolt
(2) and adjust as you like.
Thighten the thumb screw (1) after adjustment.

tools set)

► Very sharp blade! You may cause injury without
using the blade protection!

► Secure the tipped machine from tilting over
► Clean and loosen the screws (21) of the blade
mounting,
► Set the wrench at a position opposite to the blade
to avoid injury.
► Replace the blade.
► Make sure that the blade fi ts in exactly into the
support.
On normal and hard subfl oors the bevel of the
blade should show upwards fi g.D (1), on soft
subfl oors (e.g. chipboards) the bevel should
show downwards (2).
4.0 Use
4.1 Preparations fi g.E
The TURBO-STRIPPER EMK removes any bonded
fl oor coverings in stripes.
► Before starting work, cut the fl oor covering into
stripes of about 35 cm (12 inch).
You cannot work faster if you cut wider stripes.
► To begin, cut one stripe crosswise. Then lift the fl oor
slightly in order to get the blade underneath it.
► We recommend to cut the fi rst strip at right angles to
the main working direction. By so doing access to the
adjacent strips is made easier.
Cut the strips smaller if the fl oor covering is bon-
ded very ecurely, e.g. with an epoxy adhesive.
► The blades are sharpened by the fl oor pavement.
