Check for gas build-up after 12 hours. Check every 24 hours,
releasing gas and adding water as needed.

Return the contents and fresh water for a second grind. Run the
rotary tumbler continuously for 2 or 3 days to further smooth the
content's edges.
d.
Return the clean contents with fresh water to pre-polish the
materials and tumble for a week, checking every other day.
e.
Remove materials and rub with a towel, dampened leather or polish
to test their shine. If not satisfactory, replace and run for another 24
hours.
f.
Dry the barrel before returning the dried materials into the drum.
Add a polishing compound and tumble for 5 to 7 days.
g.
If the removed materials have a film, clean the drum and add a
mixture of powdered soap (not included) and water. Run the rotary
tumbler for 4 days.
h.
If satisfied, remove the materials and clean.

Hard materials may require more than a single process.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
1.
Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient, easier to
control and will have fewer problems.
2.
Inspect the tool components periodically. Repair or replace damaged or
worn components. Only use identical replacement parts when servicing.
a.
Check the V-belt (#40) for tension before each use. It must be kept as
loose as possible without allowing it to slip on the pulley (#36).
3.
Clear the vents of any dirt, dust and debris on a regular basis to prevent
the tool from overheating.
4.
Before the first use, and a once month thereafter, place a few drops of oil
on the driving shaft bearings (#1, 2 and 3).
