Transferring Data
FORA Diamond GD50 offers two types of connection (either
USB/RS-232 Cable or Bluetooth) to transfer results. Please
check your device box for the transmission method of your
device.
Data Transmission Via USB/RS-232 Cable (For
GD50a)
1. Install the software on your computer
Download Health Care System Software and instruction
manual provided on the ForaCare Suisse AG Web site:
http://www.foracare.ch. Follow the instructions to install the
software on your computer.
2. Connect the device with your computer using a USB/RS-232
Cable
Connect the USB/RS-232 cable to a USB port on your
computer. With the FORA Diamond GD50 switched off,
connect the other end of the USB/RS-232 cable to the FORA
Diamond GD50 data port. "

3. Transfer data to your computer
Follow the software on-screen instructions to transmit data.
The data transmitted will include results with date and time.
Remove the cable and the device will automatically turn off.

Data Transmission Via Bluetooth (For GD50b)
You can use your device with an iOS (5.0.1 or higher) Android
system (4.3 API Level 18 or higher) or PC (Windows 8 or
higher) to download data from your GD50b via Bluetooth.
Follow the steps below to transmit data from your GD50b.
Please contact your local customer service or place of
purchase for assistance.
1. Install the software (iFORA BG) to your device
with an iOS or Android system.
2. Every time the GD50b is turned off, the Bluetooth will be
initiated for data transmission. The Bluetooth indicator
flashes in blue.
3. Make sure your GD50b is already paired with your device
with an iOS, Android system or PC by following the
instructions as below.
