6. Timer
Allows you to set an automatic run-
time duration.
•
To set a timer, navigate to
the 'Timer' option on the LCD
screen menu. Then, use the <
> buttons to choose the desired
duration for the timer. After the
timer is complete, the cooler will
automatically dry the media if it is
wet and return to Standby mode.
7. Alerts
This feature notifies you of potential
issues with operating your Apex™
evaporative cooler.
Navigate to 'Alerts' on the LCD screen
menu and use the < > buttons to
view any active alert codes. See the
"Alert Codes" section of this manual
for more details. The Alert icon will
illuminate yellow for warnings and red
for critical alerts.
8. Wifi and Connectivity
This feature allows you to connect
your cooler to the Portacool App.
Once connected use the WiFi menu
to view the network name and signal
strength.
Navigate to 'WiFi' on the LCD screen
menu and use the < > buttons to
navigate the sections.
•
WiFi On/Off: Toggle the WiFi on
and off.
•
New Connection: Add the cooler
to the Portacool App. Select New
Connection and follow in-app
instructions.
9. Schedules
This feature allows you to set a
schedule for your cooler(s).
Schedules can only be set via
the Portacool App. Follow in-app
instructions to connect the cooler to
the app. When a schedule is set the
DISPLAY FUNCTIONS
schedule icon will illuminate.
10. Settings
This settings menu provides additional
settings for your cooler.
•
Timer: View the timer section of
this manual.
•
Pre-Soak Time: Change the
Pre-soak time for your cooler in
1-minute increments.
•
Temp Format: Change the outlet
temperature display from F to C.
•
Buzzer: Turn the buzzer on or off
•
Cooler Info: View cooler VER,
CFG, and WIFI versions (these
may be needed by customer
service)
•
Factory Reset: Return the cooler
to factory settings. Note: This will
disconnect the cooler from the
Wifi network.
