Lightly oil the crepe plate or spray with cooking spray. Wipe off
excess oil. Heat the plate by plugging in the crepe maker and turning
the temperature control knob to its highest setting.

When green light comes on, pour or ladle
side of crepe plate. Immediately use spreader to spread batter to
cover plate.

Cook until the center of the crepe is set and the bottom is nicely
browned (lift up an edge with a wooden spatula to check), about
45 seconds.
7.
Using the wooden spatula, lift and flip the crepe over. Cook on second
side until nicely browned. Fill and fold according to recipe directions
or transfer to a cooling rack. Repeat with the remaining batter,
adjusting the heat and oiling the pan as needed.
