Resin decoration DOVER
Installation
DOVER rocks are made in non toxic food-grade resin
that retains its original colour. Except for CORNER
model, they come complete with the
pump SMART (fig A) and consist of a sturdy lower
part (fig B), which can be fixed to the glass by using
silicone, and a removable upper one (fig C). Holes for
water suction (fig D) and the possibility of introducing
synthetic fibre make DOVER a useful filter.
Installation:
- choose the point where you want to place the rock in
the turtle tank;
- silicone the lower part to the glass. We recommend
using acetic silicone from Ferplast;
- assemble the pump with the 4 suction pads, the rubber
connection, the long black tube, the connection and
the short black tube (fig. E);
- place the ensemble inside the rock, making sure you
secure the SMART pump suction tanks to the bottom
(fig. F); if you require filtration, place the filter wool
(BLUFIBRE from Ferplast) inside the rock too;
- close the rock with the cover and start the pump by
connecting it to the power supply;
- you can adjust the pump capacity by working on the
strainer cap (fig. G).
Warnings:
- make sure that the voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds to the power supply voltage;
- before carrying out any maintenance work, disconnect
the appliance from the power supply;
- the rock and pump are designed for indoor use;
- the cable cannot be repaired or replaced; in the event
of damage, replace the entire appliance;
- the water temperature should not exceed 35°C;
- the maximum immersion depth is 1m;
- make sure that the habitat is protected upstream by a
circuit breaker with tripping current of no more than
30mA.
