ATTENTION
The product is part of the 20V gomag series and may
only be operated with batteries of this series. Batter-
ies may only be charged with battery chargers of this
series. Observe the manufacturer's instructions.
8.1
Mounting the belt clip (12)
1. During work breaks, the product can be hooked on-
to the belt with the integrated belt clip (12).
2. Screw the belt clip (12) with the screw (13) to the
right or left screw-on point on the product, as re-
quired. Use a Phillips screwdriver for this (not in-
cluded in the scope of delivery).
Note:
Make sure that the product is switched off and secured
against being switched on.
8.2
Inserting/removing the battery (6)
in the battery mount (7) (Fig. 1, 2)
Inserting the battery
1. Put the rotational direction switch (11) in the middle
position (lock).
2. Push the battery (6) into the battery mount (7). The
battery (6) clicks into place audibly.
Removing the battery
1. Press the unlock button (8) of the battery (6) and re-
move it from the battery mount (7).

Inserting/removing the tool
attachment (Fig. 1)
WARNING
Tool attachments may be sharp and become hot
during use. Always wear protective gloves when han-
dling the tool attachments.
CAUTION
Keep your hands away from the tool attachment
when the product is in operation.
Note:
* = not included in the scope of delivery!
1. Turn the quick-release chuck (2) anti-clockwise until
the chuck opening (1) is large enough to insert the
tool attachment*.
2. Insert the tool attachment* into the quick-release
chuck (2) as far as possible.
3. Turn the quick-release chuck (2) clockwise to clamp
the tool attachment* tight.
4. To remove the tool attachment* again, untwist the
quick-release chuck (2) and remove the tool attach-
ment*.

Test run (Fig. 1)
Note:
Before the first work and after each tool attachment
change, carry out a test run without load. Switch off the
product immediately if the tool attachment runs out of
round, there is considerable vibration or abnormal nois-
es are heard.
1. Before operation, check whether the tool attach-
ment is properly attached, i.e. centred in the quick-
release chuck (2).
2. Screw bits are marked with their dimensions and
shape. If you are unsure, always try out first wheth-
er the bit sits in the screw head without play.

Gear selection (Fig. 1)
1. Slide the gear selector switch (5) to 1
responding to a low or high speed preselection.

Adjusting the direction of
rotation (Fig. 1)
ATTENTION
The direction of rotation switch may only be actuated
when idle.
With the direction of rotation switch, you can select the
direction of rotation of the product (clockwise or anti-
clockwise) and secure the product from being switched
on unintentionally. The arrow on the direction of rotation
switch indicates the working direction.
1. Wait until the product has come to a standstill.
2. Push the direction of rotation switch (11) to the de-
sired position:
– Clockwise rotation: For drilling and screwing
in screws. Press the direction of rotation switch
to the right.
– Anti-clockwise rotation: To undo screws.
Press the direction of rotation switch to the left.
3. Switch lock: Put the direction of rotation switch in
the centre position.
