7. NOTE ON CARE AND STORAGE
• Wipe off your coupling bike carrier regularly with a damp cloth.
• Do not use chemical cleaning agents.
• Make sure that the trailer coupling of your vehicle is dry and free of grease.
• Do not store your hitch bike carrier outdoors, but in a dry, cool place protected from sunlight.
• Damaged parts may no longer be used and must be replaced.
• Check the accessories for possible damage after a fall. If damaged, the damaged part must no longer be used and
must be replaced.
8. ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION AND DISPOSAL MEASURES
Be sure to observe the following instructions for the environmentally friendly disposal of packaging material and pro-
duct.
Dispose of packaging material
NOTE: Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly way (paper and cardboard to paper was-
te, Plastic to plastic waste, metal packaging material to metal waste).
Final disposal of the product
Old appliances do not belong in household waste! Old electrical appliances contain valuable resources that
can be recovered and reused in recycling processes. However, they also contain harmful substances that
must not be released into the environment under any circumstances.
The crossed out dustbin means that you are legally obliged to dispose of these appliances separately from
unsorted municipal waste. Disposal via the residual waste bin or the yellow bin is prohibited. To return your
used electrical appliance, please use the appropriate return and collection systems or contact the dealer
from whom you purchased the product.
For safety reasons, batteries, accumulators and lamps that are not permanently installed in appliances and
for which no reuse is intended should be removed and disposed of separately before handing in the old
appliance.
9. SPARE PARTS, WARRANTY, SERVICE, MANUFACTURER
The guarantee period is 2 years and begins on the day of purchase or the day the goods are handed over. It is essential
that you fill in the guarantee card in order to make a claim under the guarantee. Therefore, please keep the receipt and
the guarantee card! The manufacturer has the right to demand the receipt as proof.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any injury or damage to property caused by incorrect installation or use
of the product.
The manufacturer guarantees to remedy defects attributable to material or manufacturing faults free of charge by re-
pair, subsequent delivery or replacement, at the manufacturer's discretion. The warranty does not cover damage caused
by an accident, an unforeseen event (e.g. lightning, water, fire, etc.), improper use or transport, disregard of safety and
maintenance instructions or other improper processing or modification. The legal warranty obligation of the seller is not
limited by the guarantee. If any parts are missing or defective at the time of purchase, please mark them in the following
list and send them to us. We will send you the missing parts to the address given.
