4. POSITIONING AND FASTENING OF THE BICYCLES ON THE BICYCLE CARRIER
Warning: When you mount a bicycle on the coupling bicycle carrier, the engine must be switched off, the ignition swit-
ched off and the handbrake applied. The vehicle must be in a horizontal position.
For bikes with carbon frames or forks, always check with the manufacturer or dealer to ensure that your model can be
transported with the carrier.
Position the largest and heaviest bicycle fi rst on the bicycle carrier, place the wheels in the wheel holder and attach
the bicycle to the shortest arm (1 fi g. G). Secure the wheels with the straps included in the scope of delivery (2 Fig. G).
Repeat the procedures (1-2 fi g. G) for the second bike. Fix the fi rst and second bike to the fastening bracket with the
fastening arms (1 fi g. G). If your bike is too protrudes far beyond the wheel support, please use the two adapters inclu-
ded in the scope of delivery (Fig. G1).
IMPORTANT: For safe transport of the load, the bicycle carrier is equipped with a strap with which all bicycles must be
lashed to the mounting bracket. Make sure that the strap is correctly fi tted by tightening it suffi ciently (3 Fig. G2).
5. TILTING THE BIKE CARRIERS
To fold down the bicycle carrier, hold it up with one hand and simultaneously press the pedal down with your foot.(1-2
Fig. H). In order to prevent injuries and damage, the person carrying out the work must enlist the help of a second per-

changes from the tilted position (Fig. I) to the closed position (Fig. L).
