Die BORT RhizoFlex® Daumen-Ringorthese ist sehr angenehm zu tragen. Das
integrierte Stabilisierungselement sorgt für eine optimale Passform.
Gebrauchsanleitung:
1. Schieben Sie die Orthese um Ihren Daumen, wobei sich das Klettband auf
dem Handrücken befindet. Dabei umschließt das Aluminium-Stabilisierungs-
element die Daumenwurzel.
2. Der Klettverschluss des Klettbandes muss geöffnet sein, das Band sollte
jedoch in der Öffnung verbleiben.
3. Schließen Sie nun das Klettband.
4. Bedingt durch das verformbare Stabilisierungselement aus Aluminium kann
die Orthese im Therapieverlauf immer wieder nachgepasst werden um eine
optimale Passform zu erhalten.
Die Anwendung der Orthese im Wasser ist problemlos möglich. Bei Kontakt mit
Salzwasser anschließend mit reichlich Süßwasser spülen.
Indikationen:
Postoperativ, posttraumatisch oder degenerative Reizzustände im Bereich
des Daumensattelgelenks, z. B. Arthrose am CMC-I-Gelenk (Daumensattel-
gelenk), postoperativ nach Arthroplastik des CMC-I-Gelenks, Instabilität des
CMC-I- Gelenks.
Kontraindikationen:
Lymphabflussstörungen auch unklare Weichteilschwellungen körperfern des an-
gelegten Hilfsmittels, Empfindungs- und Durchblutungsstörungen der versorgten
Körperregion, Erkrankungen der Haut im versorgten Körperabschnitt.
Materialzusammensetzung:
Kunststoffrahmen: 70 % Thermoplastisches
Polyurethan, 30 % Thermoplastische Elastomere
Verschlussband: 55 % Polyester, 45 % Polyamid
Wichtiger Hinweis:
Kein Wiedereinsatz – dieses Hilfsmittel ist zur Versorgung eines Patienten
bestimmt. Wurde das Tragen bei Nacht angeordnet, Beeinträchtigung des Blut-
kreislaufs vermeiden. Bei Taubheitsgefühl in Hand oder Arm die Bandage lockern
und ggf. abnehmen. Bei anhaltenden Beschwerden sollten Sie umgehend ihren
Arzt aufsuchen.

Instructions for use:
1. Slide the brace around your thumb with the Velcro tape on the back of the hand.
Here, the aluminium stabilisation element surrounds the base of the thumb.
2. The Velcro tape Velcro fastener must be open, the tape however should remain
in the opening.
3. Then close the Velcro tape.
4. As the aluminium stabilisation element is formable, this brace can repeatedly
be refitted during the course of therapy in order to retain an optimum fit.
The brace can be used in water without any problems. If it comes into contact
with saline water, rinse it afterwards with ample fresh water.
Indications:
Post-operative, post-traumatic or degenerative irritations in the thumb saddle
joint region, e.g. arthrosis of the CMC-I joint (thumb saddle joint), instability of
the CMC-I joint, post-operatively following arthroplasty of the CMC-I joint, insta-
bility of the CMC-I joint.
Contraindications:
Lymphatic drainage disorders and indistinct soft tissue swellings remote from the
applied aid, sensory loss and blood flow disorders in the affected body part, skin
disorders in the treated part of the body.

L'immobilisation est un principe fondamental dans le traitement de lésions et de
surmenage, le processus de guérison s'en trouvant considérablement accéléré.
BORT, RhizoFlex®, orthèse de pouce annulaire est très agréable à porter.
L'élément de stabilisation intégré assure un ajustement optimal.
Mode d'emploi :
1. Enfilez votre pouce dans l'orthèse en veillant à ce que la bande auto-agrippante se
trouve sur le dos de la main. L'élément de stabilisation en aluminium entoure
alors la base du pouce.
2. La fermeture de la bande auto-agrippante doit être ouverte et la bande doit
néanmoins rester dans l'ouverture.
3. Puis fixez la bande auto-agrippante pour la fermer.
4. L'élément de stabilisation malléable en aluminium permet de toujours réa juster
l'orthèse au cours du traitement afin d'obtenir un maintien optimal.
L'utilisation de l'orthèse dans l'eau est possible sans aucun problème. Prière de
la rincer abondamment à l'eau douce en cas de contact avec de l'eau salée.
Indications :
États irritatifs post-opératoires, post-traumatiques ou dégénératifs au niveau de
l'articulation trapézo-métacarpienne, p. ex. arthrose affectant l'articulation trapézo-
métacarpienne, états post-opératoires suite à une arthroplastie de l'articulation
trapézo-métacarpienne, instabilité de l'articulation trapézo-métacarpienne.
Contre-indications :
Problèmes d'écoulement lymphatique, également des tuméfactions des parties
molles à des endroits éloignés du bandage mis en place, perturbation de la sen-
sibilité et de la circulation sanguine au niveau de la région corporelle traitée,
maladies de la peau dans la section du corps soignée.

Note importante :
Pas de réutilisation – ce produit est destiné à l'usage d'un seul patient.
Si le médecin a prescrit de porter le bandage pendant la nuit, évitez de géner la
circulation du sang. En cas de sensation d'engourdissement, relâchez la bandage ou
enlevez-le, si nécessaire. Consultez votre médecin en cas de troubles persistants.

La inmovilización es un principio fundamental en el tratamiento de lesiones y so-
brecargas, puesto que los procesos de restablecimiento son considerablemente
aceleradaos.
La férula de pulgar con anillo RhizoFlex® resulta más fácil de poner y cómoda
de llevar gracias a su fleje integrado.
Instrucciones de uso:
1. Deslizar la férula alrededor del pulgar dejando el Velcro en el dorso de la mano,
con el fleje de aluminio alrededor de la base del pulgar.
2. Mantener el cierre de Velcro abierto, pero con la cinta en la apertura.
3. Cerrar el Velcro.
4. El fleje deformable de aluminio permite adaptar la férula tantas veces como
sea necesario durante el tratamiento para obtener un ajuste óptimo.
La férula puede mojarse en agua. En caso de que se moje con agua salada, habrá
que lavarla después con agua dulce abundante.
Indicaciones:
Irritaciones post-operatorias, post-traumáticas o degenerativas de la articulación
carpometacarpiana del dedo pulgar, por ejemplo, artrosis de articulación CMC-I
(articulación carpometacarpiana del pulgar), tras la artroplastia de la articulación
CMC-I, inestabilidad de la articulación CMC-I.
Contraindicaciones:
Trastornos linfáticos, incl. hinchazón de origen desconocido del tejido blando en
zonas alejadas de la tratada, trastornos sensitivos y circulatorios de la región
corporal atendida, enfermedades cutáneas en la zona del cuerpo a tratar.

Nota importante:
Este producto no debe reutilizarse – es solamente destinado para un paciente. Si
el médico ordenó llevarlo durante la noche, evitar la reducción de la circulación
sanguinea. En caso de sensación de entumecimiento aflojar el vandaje y quitarlo
si fuera necesario. En caso de trastornos persistentes consulte al médico.
