9. Place the battery in a plastic bag: This prevents the battery
from coming into contact with other items.
10. Dispose of the battery and the device as advised by your
local council.
Again with cutters, cut the black wire of the battery
close to the PCB. Seal the exposed end (battery side)
with insulating tape - see diagram step 8.
Carefully remove the battery from the casing.
