Intended use
The bandage stabilises, supports and relieves the wrist. The
ergonomically shaped joint support and the elastic wrist brace
stabilise the wrist, and the pad (cushioning) that is incorporated
into it promotes blood flow and improves muscle function.
To be used as support for:
• Inflammatory arthropathies (rheumatoid arthritis,
rheumatism)
• Joint pain due to degradation (osteoarthritis)
• Irritation from overworking
• Typist's (tendovaginitis)
• Bruises
• Feeling of instability
• Carpal tunnel syndrome
• Distorsion
Usage restrictions
Do not use – or use only after consultation with
your doctor – for:
• External damage
• Bone fractures
• Circulatory disorders
• Higher degree of instability in wrist
• Neurological deficits such as paralysis, radiating nerve pain
or similar.
Safety instructions
Risk of injury
If problems occur while wearing the bandage, remove it
immediately and consult a doctor.
Check the bandage before each use for tears and
damage.
The product should only be used in perfect condition.
Make sure the bandage is comfortable but not too tight.
Never put the bandage on so tightly that the blood
circulation is restricted.
Do not wear the bandage longer than 2 to 3 hours at a
stretch and a maximum of 6 to 8 hours a day.
Do not wear the bandage while sleeping or during
longer rest phases such as long periods of sitting.
Wash the areas of skin covered by the bandage
thoroughly and regularly.
To avoid allergic skin reaction., the skin must be free of
grease, gels, creams, oils or similar materials.
Possible side effects
If you experience symptoms (such as, e.g. tingling, pain,
swelling) while wearing the bandage, remove the band-
age immediately!
There is a risk of skin irritation and skin irritations!
In individual cases, skin irritation and reactions and
allergic reactions may occur. Make sure that the stated
maximum wearing periods are not exceeded and the
areas of skin covered by the bandage are thoroughly
and regularly washed. Should any problems or com-
plaints occur, consult a doctor immediately!
Putting the bandage on
• Pull the article on from below through your fingers and stick your
thumb gently into the thumb hole (Fig. 1). When the bandage is
correctly applied, the thumb-hole sits over the base of the thumb
without tension. The brace is pleasantly firm, but not too tight.
• The included elastic wrist strap can be individually wrapped
around the wrist brace for additional stabilisation (Fig. 2).
• The stabiliser bar is in the brace and can be removed from it, if
necessary (Fig. 3).
Note: The statements/illustrations shown are for the wrist brace
on both the left or the right.
Cleaning and care
• Thoroughly wash the brace before first use. Remove the sta-
biliser bar before cleaning (Fig. 3). Remove the elastic brace
before washing the bandage.
• Clean the product regularly.
• After washing, thoroughly rinse your brace and reinsert the
stabiliser bar after drying.
• It's advisable to wash the brace again every second or third
use.
• Wash separately.
